Air Fryer Bacon: The Ultimate Guide to Perfectly Crispy Bacon Every Time

This Air Fryer Bacon is perfectly crispy, quick, and incredibly easy to make. There’s no flipping required, and the air fryer helps reduce mess by letting excess grease drip away. Enjoy it with eggs for breakfast, crumble it over salads, add it to sandwiches, or use it in your favorite recipes.

Ingredients

Scale
    • 8 slices bacon

Instructions

  • Lay the bacon slices in the air fryer basket. They can touch slightly, but do not overlap or stack them.
Tip: If your air fryer is small, cut the bacon in half and cook in batches.

  • Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–15 minutes, depending on how crispy you like your bacon.

    • Thin bacon cooks faster

    • Thick-cut bacon takes longer

  • Carefully remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel–lined plate to absorb excess grease.

  • If cooking another batch, carefully pour out the grease from the bottom of the air fryer before adding more bacon.

Notes

  • Check the bacon around the 8-minute mark to avoid overcooking.

  • For extra crispy bacon, add 1–2 more minutes of cooking time.

  • Clean your air fryer after cooking to prevent smoke the next time you use it.

  • Bacon will crisp up slightly more as it cools.
