These Air Fryer Calzones are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and packed with cheesy pepperoni goodness. They’re incredibly easy to make with store-bought pizza dough and come together fast—perfect for busy weeknights, game days, or kids’ parties.
1 lb pizza dough
½ cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz pepperoni
Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Using your hands, roll each piece into a small pizza-shaped circle.
Spoon pizza sauce onto one half of each dough circle, leaving the edges clean.
Layer mozzarella cheese over the sauce, add pepperoni, then finish with another layer of cheese.
Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-circle. Crimp the edges firmly with your fingers to seal.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and place the calzones inside, leaving space between them.
Air fry in batches at 375°F (190°C) for 7–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Remove and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with extra pizza sauce if desired.
Don’t overfill—too much filling can cause leaks.
Seal the edges well to keep the cheese inside.
For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tops with oil before air frying.
Customize with cooked sausage, mushrooms, or veggies.
