This Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon is an easy, healthy recipe made with just 4 simple ingredients. The salmon turns perfectly tender on the inside with a sweet, sticky, caramelized glaze on the outside. Best of all, it cooks in under 10 minutes, making it ideal for busy weeknights.
2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz each)
2 tablespoons honey
1½ tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
Optional Garnishes
Black or white sesame seeds
Green onions, sliced
In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and garlic until well combined.
Divide the sauce in half.
Marinate the salmon with half of the sauce in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and brush with the remaining sauce.
Air fry for 7–8 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Serve hot, drizzled with any extra sauce and topped with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function, run it empty at 400°F for 5 minutes before cooking.
Do not overcrowd the basket—air circulation helps caramelize the glaze.
For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes, fresh ginger, lemon juice, or lime juice.
