2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons oil
1½ teaspoons ground black pepper
1½ teaspoons salt
1½ teaspoons soy sauce
Prepare the steak:
Cut the sirloin steak into evenly sized 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces.
Make the seasoning:
In a bowl, whisk together the oil, black pepper, salt, and soy sauce.
Season the steak:
Add the steak pieces to the bowl and toss until well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Air fry:
Place the steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7–12 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through.
7 minutes: rare to medium-rare
10 minutes: medium
12 minutes: medium-well
Serve:
Enjoy hot as a main dish with rice, noodles, or vegetables, or serve as an appetizer with dipping sauces.
Even cuts matter: Cutting the steak evenly helps it cook at the same rate.
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed for juicy, well-seared bites.
Rest before serving: Let the steak rest for 2–3 minutes to keep it juicy.
Add flavor: Garlic powder, paprika, or a splash of Worcestershire sauce work great.
