Air Fryer Meatballs (Beef & Pork): The Ultimate Guide to Juicy, Flavor-Packed Meatballs at Home

These Air Fryer Meatballs are juicy on the inside, lightly crisp on the outside, and packed with classic Italian flavors. Made with a combination of lean ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, and simple seasonings, this recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz lean ground beef

  • 4 oz ground pork

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ⅓ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  • Mix the ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix gently until evenly combined.

  • Shape the meatballs:
Form the mixture into 16 equal meatballs. A small ice cream scoop helps keep them uniform. Place them on a baking sheet.

  • Air fry:
Arrange half of the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, then shake the basket and cook for 2 more minutes until browned and cooked through.

  • Rest and repeat:
Transfer cooked meatballs to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes. Repeat with the remaining meatballs.

  • Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix: Mixing too much can make meatballs dense instead of tender.

  • Uniform size: Evenly sized meatballs cook more consistently.

  • Batch cooking: Avoid overcrowding the basket for best browning.

  • Freezer-friendly: Freeze uncooked meatballs for easy future meals.
