These Air Fryer Poached Eggs are an easy, foolproof way to enjoy perfectly poached eggs without boiling water or swirling a pot. With just a few ingredients and ramekins, you’ll have tender whites and beautifully runny yolks in about 10 minutes—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or topping toast and salads.
2 large eggs
Cooking spray
6 tablespoons water (3 tablespoons per ramekin)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Chives, chopped (optional)
Prepare the Ramekins
Lightly spray two ramekins with cooking spray. Add 3 tablespoons of water to each ramekin.
Preheat the Water
Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 7 minutes.
Add the Eggs
Carefully crack one egg into each ramekin. Return them to the air fryer.
Poach the Eggs
Cook at 360°F (182°C) for 4–5 minutes, depending on how runny you like your yolks.
Remove & Serve
Carefully remove the ramekins using tongs or a potholder.
Run a silicone spatula around the edge to loosen the eggs, then lift them out and place on paper towels to drain. Season with salt, pepper, and chives if desired.
Fresh eggs work best and hold their shape better.
Adjust cook time based on your air fryer model—every air fryer cooks slightly differently.
For smaller (4 oz) ramekins, use 2 tablespoons of water instead of 3.
Let eggs rest on paper towels for 2–3 minutes to remove excess moisture.
Handle gently to avoid breaking the yolk.
