1½ pounds pork belly, patted dry and cut into 1-inch pieces
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
Season the Pork Belly
In a large bowl, mix the canola oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the pork belly pieces and toss until every piece is well coated.
Arrange in the Basket
Place the pork belly pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
If needed, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Air Fry
Cook for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket and flipping the pieces a couple of times during cooking.
Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the pork belly pieces and your air fryer model.
Serve
Remove from the air fryer once golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
Pat the pork belly very dry before seasoning for maximum crispiness.
Don’t overcrowd the basket—air circulation is key.
For extra flavor, add smoked paprika or chili flakes to the seasoning.
