Using simple spices and minimal prep, this recipe is ideal for busy weeknights while still feeling like a special meal.
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 pound pork tenderloin
Make the Spice Rub
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes.
Prepare the Pork
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Trim off the silver skin using a sharp knife. Rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the pork.
Air Fry
Place the pork tenderloin in the preheated air fryer.
Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the pork over.
Continue cooking for 8–16 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the tenderloin.
Rest and Serve
Remove the pork from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve.
Always remove the silver skin for the most tender results.
Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
Letting the pork rest helps keep it juicy.
Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
