Ingredients

Scale

Potato Wedges

  • 1 pound potatoes (russet or Yukon gold work best)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Optional Toppings

  • Fresh parsley, minced

  • Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes well and cut them into evenly sized wedges. No need to peel.

  2. Place the potato wedges in a medium bowl and coat them evenly with olive oil. You can toss them or brush the oil onto each wedge.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, sea salt, paprika, and black pepper.

  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture gradually over the potatoes, tossing or turning them to coat all sides evenly.

  5. Arrange the potato wedges in the air fryer basket with the skin side facing down, if possible. Avoid overcrowding.

  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and tender inside.

  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately. Top with grated parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Even cuts matter: Try to keep wedges the same size so they cook evenly.

  • Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed for maximum crispiness.

  • Shake only if needed: If wedges overlap, shake the basket halfway through cooking.

  • Adjust cooking time: Air fryer models vary—check at 15 minutes and add time if needed.

  • Reheating: Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for best texture.
