With crispy outsides, fluffy centers, and zesty seasoning, these Air Fryer Potato Wedges are a fun and tasty family favorite. They’re easy to make, use simple pantry spices, and come out perfectly golden without deep frying.
1 lb potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
Optional Toppings
Fresh parsley, minced
Grated Parmesan cheese
Wash the potatoes well and cut them into wedges. Peeling is not necessary.
Place the potato wedges in a medium bowl and coat with olive oil. You can brush the oil on or toss the wedges to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, mix onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, paprika, and pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the oiled wedges, tossing and turning them so all sides are evenly coated.
Arrange the wedges in the air fryer basket with the skin side facing down.
Air fry at 400°F (205°C) for 15–18 minutes, until golden, crispy on the edges, and tender inside.
Serve immediately. Top with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
Even coating: Make sure each wedge is lightly coated with oil and seasoning for the best crisp.
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed so the wedges crisp evenly.
Check doneness: Start checking at 15 minutes—potatoes should be crispy outside and soft inside.
Flavor boost: Add chili powder or smoked paprika for extra kick.
