4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup butter, cut into pieces
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 lemon, sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour lemon juice evenly over the top.
In a small bowl, mix lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle seasoning evenly over the chicken.
Place about 1 tablespoon butter on each chicken breast. Scatter remaining butter pieces around the dish.
Top with fresh lemon slices, placing some directly on the chicken for extra flavor.
Bake uncovered for 30–45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Spoon some of the melted lemon-butter sauce over the chicken before serving.
Rest 5 minutes, then serve.
Pound thick chicken breasts for even cooking.
Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best flavor.
Add fresh minced garlic for extra depth.
Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for light browning.
Spoon pan juices over rice or vegetables — they’re delicious.
