Cheeseburger Twists are a fun, crispy spin on the classic cheeseburger you know and love. Juicy seasoned beef and melty cheddar cheese are wrapped in golden egg roll wrappers for a bite-sized treat that’s perfect for dinners, parties, or game nights. They’re crunchy on the outside, savory on the inside, and always a crowd-pleaser.
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart, until fully browned and no longer pink (about 5–7 minutes).
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
Remove from heat and transfer the beef mixture to a bowl. Let it cool slightly, then fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and lightly moisten the edges with water. Add a spoonful of the beef mixture to the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a little more water.
Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the egg rolls for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on a paper towel–lined plate. Serve warm and enjoy.
Let the beef mixture cool slightly before adding cheese to prevent it from melting too quickly.
Don’t overfill the wrappers—this helps them seal properly and fry evenly.
For a lighter option, these can be baked or air-fried instead of pan-fried.
Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, burger sauce, or spicy mayo for extra flavor.
