Scale: 1x
1 lb ground beef
1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Make the Filling
Stir the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef until well combined.
Assemble the Casserole
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Layer the drained corn on top, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Add the Tater Tots
Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
Bake
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.
Serve
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
Add diced bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
Swap cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken if preferred.
For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
This dish can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
