These crispy air fryer nachos are quick, crunchy, and loaded with melty cheese and seasoned ground beef. Perfect for game day, movie night, or a fast snack, they come together in just minutes and deliver big flavor with minimal effort.
½ lb ground beef
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
4 cups tortilla chips
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Roma tomato, diced
½ bell pepper, diced
1 scallion, sliced
Chopped fresh cilantro
Sour cream, for serving
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease and set aside.
Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
Add half of the tortilla chips in an even layer, then top with half the cheese, beef, tomato, and bell pepper.
Repeat the layers with remaining chips and toppings.
Air fry for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
Remove carefully and top with sliced scallions and fresh cilantro.
Serve immediately with sour cream or your favorite toppings.
Layer evenly: This ensures every bite has cheese and beef.
Watch closely: Nachos cook fast—check early to avoid burning.
Customize toppings: Add jalapeños, olives, or swap cheddar for a Mexican blend.
