These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are bold, crunchy, and packed with flavor! Bite-sized pieces of salmon are coated in a seasoned panko crust, fried until golden, and tossed in a creamy, sweet-spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect as a party appetizer, game-day snack, or even served over rice for a fun weeknight dinner.

Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb fresh skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Bang Bang Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prep the Salmon
    Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized cubes.

  2. Create a Breading Station
    In one bowl, add flour.
    In a second bowl, add beaten eggs.
    In a third bowl, mix panko, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Bread the Salmon
    Coat each salmon cube in flour, dip in egg, then press into the panko mixture.

  4. Fry Until Crispy
    Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    Fry salmon in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.

  5. Make the Sauce
    In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.

  6. Serve
    Drizzle or dip with Bang Bang sauce. Serve immediately while hot and crispy!

Notes

  • Air Fryer Option: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Keep It Crispy: Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.

  • Flavor Boost: Add a squeeze of lime and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
