This Easy Air Fryer Sausage and Potatoes recipe is a simple, comforting meal that comes together quickly with minimal prep. Crispy potatoes, savory kielbasa, and tender onions cook perfectly in the air fryer, making this a great option for a busy weeknight lunch or dinner. Everything cooks in one basket, which means less cleanup and more flavor.
1 pound baby Yukon Gold potatoes, halved or quartered
1 package fully cooked kielbasa sausage, sliced
½ red onion, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Optional for serving: fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh parsley
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and red onion. Drizzle with olive oil, then add minced garlic and dried thyme. Toss well to coat evenly.
Place the potato and onion mixture into the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
Add the sliced sausage to the basket and cook for an additional 5–8 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and lightly crispy on the edges.
Transfer to a serving plate. If desired, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Cut all ingredients to similar sizes to ensure even cooking.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
Shaking the basket halfway through is key for crispy potatoes.
Swap kielbasa for smoked sausage or chicken sausage if you prefer.
