Garlic Chicken Wraps – The Ultimate Comfort Food You’ll Make Again and Again

These Garlic Chicken Wraps are warm, cheesy, and bursting with comforting garlic flavor. Tender shredded chicken is tossed with a creamy cheese blend and Italian seasonings, then wrapped in soft tortillas and grilled until golden and melty. They’re quick to make, family-friendly, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or even meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese, divided

  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant.

  2. Add the cooked chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and heat through.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese.

  4. Remove the chicken from heat and stir it into the creamy cheese mixture until fully combined.

  5. Lay out the tortillas and spoon an even amount of the chicken mixture into the center of each.

  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.

  7. Roll up the tortillas tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.

  8. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and cook the wraps for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and the cheese is melted.

  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Extra crispy wraps: Brush the outside of the tortillas lightly with butter before grilling.

  • Add veggies: Spinach, sautéed mushrooms, or roasted peppers pair beautifully with the garlic chicken.

  • Spice it up: Add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for a kick.

  • Make ahead: Prepare the filling in advance and store in the refrigerator for quick assembly later.
