These Keto Cheesy Chicken Fritters are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. They’re low in carbs, high in protein, and perfect for a quick snack, appetizer, or easy weeknight meal. Made in the air fryer, they’re also lighter and less greasy than pan-fried versions.
1 lb ground chicken (or chicken breast, minced)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese of choice)
¼ cup almond flour
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Oil spray (for air fryer tray)
If using chicken breast, cut it into chunks and pulse in a food processor until coarsely minced.
Transfer the chicken to a bowl. Add almond flour, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and shredded cheese.
Mix well until fully combined.
Lightly spray the air fryer tray or basket with oil.
Using an ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop the mixture onto the tray. Slightly flatten each fritter.
Spray the tops lightly with oil.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley or green onions if desired.
Cheese matters: Mozzarella melts well, but cheddar or a blend adds stronger flavor.
Extra crisp: Flip the fritters halfway through cooking if your air fryer allows.
Serving idea: Great with sriracha mayo, garlic aioli, or a simple sour cream dip.
