Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles is a quick, comforting dish packed with bold Asian-inspired flavors. Savory ground beef is simmered in a rich, slightly sweet sauce made with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and hoisin, then tossed with tender linguine for a satisfying meal. 1 lb ground beef
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup beef broth
1/3 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
10 oz linguine
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
4 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Cook the Pasta
Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
Build the Sauce
Add the minced garlic to the beef and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the brown sugar, beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ground ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
