Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth

  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a large baking dish and set aside.

  2. Cook Pasta
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. Sauté Garlic
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  4. Cook Shrimp
Add shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes, turning once, until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  5. Make the Sauce
Pour wine (or broth) into the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  6. Combine Pasta
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. Assemble
Transfer pasta to prepared baking dish. Arrange shrimp evenly on top.

  8. Add Cheese & Bake
Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella over everything. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Serve
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and texture.

  • Don’t overcook the shrimp before baking—they will finish cooking in the oven.

  • For extra crispiness, broil the dish for 1–2 minutes at the end.

  • Add a handful of spinach or sautéed mushrooms for extra vegetables.
