  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)

Cheese Sauce

  • 16 slices American cheese

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 tbsp liquid from jarred jalapeño slices

Instructions

1. Prepare Seasoning

  1. In a small bowl, mix together salt, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Set aside.

2. Fry the Fries

  1. Fill a saucepan with at least 3 inches of vegetable oil and heat to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Fry the frozen fries for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.

  3. Remove fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

3. Make the Cheese Sauce

  1. Tear the cheese slices into smaller pieces.

  2. Combine cheese, milk, and jalapeño liquid in a microwave-safe bowl.
